When I attempt to use the tdmsread function available in the Data Acquisition Toolbox, the function is not recognized.

When I attempt to use the tdmsread function available in the Data Acquisition Toolbox, I get the dreaded "Unrecognized function or variable 'tdmsread'." I have confirmed using the ver command that I have Version 4.2 of the DAT installed. I'm attempting to read tdms files stored on my local drive.

Originally this message had release R2022b listed; I've edited it to R2020b to reflect this answer.
As for why this answers the question: the documentation page for tdmsread states that it was "Introduced in R2022a".
