Linux Matlab auto login/login from command line

Every time when I launch Matlab on linux command line, it requires me to login in GUI.
However, on Windows I don't have to login every time.
What should I set to enable auto login on Linux? Or, at least any method to login using command only without GUI?

Hi,
Start MatLab with the following flags
matlab -nodesktop -nojvm -nosplash
- -nodesktop prevents the desktop
- -nojvm prevents starting of the java virtual machine
- -nosplash prevents the start-up splash screen.
You can also avoid using "-nojvm" as you might end up losing some functionality, unless you have a separate good reason to use "-nojvm".
Also, To execute a MATLAB script hello.m via a remote ssh login, in a terminal window type:
ssh local.foo.com matlab -nodisplay -nojvm < hello.m
The ssh command pipes hello.m to MATLAB running on the remote host local.foo.com. The -nodisplay option starts MATLAB without the desktop.
Hope it helps!!
