How to make two matrices of the same size

I have two matrices 467x487 and 881x707. The data in the matrice spread within the coordinates of x (-x, x) and y (-y,y) with same dimensions in each case. I'm trying to make these two matrices be of the same dimensions, something like 2001x2001. Your help will be appreciated.
