To add a 'Distributed Generating(DG)' unit to the IEEE 33-bus system in MATLAB Simulink depending on the type of DG unit you want to simulate, you can use:
- Synchronous Machine: For traditional generators. You can find this block in the Simscape > Electrical > Specialized Power > Systems > Machine library.
- Three Phase Inverter: For inverter-based DGs. This block can be found in the Simscape > Electrical > Specialized Power Systems > Power Electronics library.
Hope this helps!
