When I'm using any release of MATLAB on macOS Sonoma, the program consistently crashes about 1-2 minutes after using it. I am using an Individual or Designated Computer license. If I minimize the crash report window, it seems like I can still use MATLAB. I noticed that the stack trace in the crash dump is about 16 lines long and mentions libmwlmgrimpl.dylib. Why does this happen and how can I fix it?

If your stack trace and symptoms do not fit the description in the question above, then you likely are encountering a different issue. This Answer specifically addresses this issue and not general MATLAB crashes on macOS Sonoma.
This is specifically a licensing-related issue. MathWorks is currently aware of this and is working on a solution.
In the interim, if you need to use macOS Sonoma, you can use MATLAB Online, Login Named User, or a Concurrent license if available. If you use the 2 latter options, you may need to manually move the license file causing issues elsewhere or deactivate the affected license.
What is Login Named User and how can I use it?
