Why does the MathWorks Service Host create several files on my machine?

The MathWorks Service Host is a required part of MATLAB R2024a and newer. Depending on the license used, it may be required as far back as R2021b. The files that are part of the MathWorks Service Host are necessary for it to function. There is no option to disable or remove the MathWorks Service Host if you intend to continue using MATLAB R2024a or R2021b if your license requires it.
