Why do I receive "Error: X license(s), unsupported by licensed server" when I select "Perform Status Enquiry"?

 Accepted Answer

The following issues can cause this error:
  • If you are using a Network Named User license with an options file that is missing or has incorrectly formatted INCLUDE lines for the product that is listed as "unsupported".
  • If the product in question has expired, its INCREMENT line has been manually edited (other than adding SORT=), or was generated for a different Host ID
  • If the Network License Manager is outdated
It is highly recommended to look at the Network License Manager's log file for more details on why this error message is occurring.
