How can I import CAD geometry from SimWise4D?

I want to use SimWise 4D to import CAD geometry with custom constraints or boundary conditions into Simulink.
How can I do that?

If you are using Simulink up until version R2023b:
Please use the "GetGeometry" app. The app has become obsolete starting versions R2024a onwards due to changes associated with MATLAB support for ActiveX and COM.
If you are using Simulink version R2024a onwards:
Please use the "xMechanics" app. "xMechanics" is a MATLAB app that operates on an XML export from SimWise 4D. It offers a simple user-interface that requests the XML file that was exported from SimWise 4D.
"xMechanics" will generate the Simulink model, employing Simscape Multibody.
Please ensure updating SimWise 4D to version 9.9, Build 4166 which offers a menu selection to export XML as shown in the following image:
Please contact support at Design-Simulations Technologies if you require an update to SimWise 4D.
The ZIP folder attached contains the installers for the "GetGeometry" and "xMechanics" apps.
