Running the software for multiple images

I have this folder of images and would like to run my software on them. However, I am not so sure how and what to start with. Thanks in advance.

Thank you so much! May I know how can I obtain an average image from a folder which contains multiple images?

  TheImageArray = read image #imagenumber
  if imagenumber == 1
     image_total = double(TheImageArray)
  else
     image_total = image_total + TheImageArray
  end
end

mean_Image = image_total / number of images
