Does Matlab run on IBM Power Systems running Linux?

Do any versions of Matlab support the Power PC chip running in a Linux environment? If so, what distributions of Linux?

 Accepted Answer

No. All versions of MATLAB for several years now require the x64 or x86 architecture, which means Intel or AMD cpus. R2016a onward requires the x64 architecture (no 32 bit version for any operating system.)
R2007b was the last MATLAB with PowerPC support, which was for OS-X.
R13 supported AIX on IBM RS/6000 PowerPC, and was the last version supported on that chip.

I don't know what computing hardware Oak Ridge National Labs uses. You'd probably want to ask their support staff for that information using one of the pieces of contact information on the page to which you linked.
