Implementing Hidden Markov Model

I found couple codes to start with, but getting lots of errors as they are outdated I guess.

I am trying to analyse a data file using HMM. I studied algorithm well but now stuck with actual experiment part i.e to apply code and observe results.

I tried to implemment HMM but I can't and i found in matlab built-in functions of HMM but i can't understand how to use it . please if you found any materials about hmm send it to me .Beacuse i need it . I want to use HMM in speech recognition so i want to use this functions over the training data and recognition what can i do ??? Thanks a lot
