Nested Minimization Function Problem

Not sure what the best way to explain this is but I'll be happy to provide as much additional information if requested.
I have a system which needs to be given some paramaters c(1),c(2),c(3) which will then go into an oscillatory process (while loop) and output some points (time and y-values). Then, I fit a sinusoid to this to output a separate set of parameter d(1),d(2),d(3) where I want to minimize the function sum(data-d)^2.
My question is, how do I code this so that my program finds the best values for c(1),c(2),c(3) which minimize sum(data-d)^2.
Thank you for any help :)

To solve this optimization problem, you can use MATLAB's optimization toolbox ,below is the documentation link: https://www.mathworks.com/products/optimization.html
