How can I check the expiration date of my MATLAB license?

In order to check your MATLAB license's expiration date, you will need to locate the license file. See the following article for information on how to locate your license file:
The license file can be opened with any text editor, but as it is a UNIX formatted text file, on Windows we recommend using WordPad as NotePad will not be able to read the line endings.
In the license file, you will see an INCREMENT line corresponding to each of your MathWorks products. For example, an INCREMENT line for MATLAB might look like this:
INCREMENT MATLAB MLM 35 01-jan-0000
01-jan-0000 indicates that this license file is perpetual and will therefore never expire. If this were a term license, that would be an actual date, however most MATLAB licenses are in fact perpetual.
