Why Mathworks account disappeared?

I have had my account for many years. I recently tried to login and realised that I could not so I requested a 'password change' email. The email read that I am requesting for 'password change' for an account that does not exist and encouraged me to create a new account. I have no idea what to do and cannot contact Mathworks because I apparently do not have an account. My account just vanished?. I have never seen anything quite like this! Has this happened to anyone? How do I proceed to recover my account?

Give Customer Service a call using the phone number given on the Contact Us page for your local location or representative. They should be able to help you figure out what's happened with your MathWorks account.
