How to display progress plots using code driven parameter optimization

3 views (last 30 days)
I'm using the parameter optimization of simulink. I call this from the console, and I want to show a plot of the parameter trajectories, residuals etc. just as is possible with the GUI parameter optimization. How do I do this? I guess it should be something like est.DispOptions ( similar to est.Optimoptions? )
Thanks in advance for your time and help.

Unfortunately command line parameter estimation does not support progress plots during estimation.
The estimation process does return information that can be plotted once the estimation is finished. See the est.EstimInfo property; specifically the est.EstimInfo.Values and est.EstimInfo.Cost can be used to plot the parameter trajectories and sum-square of the residuals.

Thank you for your quick reply. Too bad that it is not supported, but with this data I can still give a clear overview of the estimation process. Thank you very much.
