I noticed in our recently installed R2018a that there seems to be an incorrect symlink (note that libSDL2.so is symlinked to a non-existent file):
frisch.paciorek$ ls -l R2018a/bin/glnxa64/libSDL*
-r--r--r-- 1 scf scfstaff 5180839 Feb 5 21:18 R2018a/bin/glnxa64/libSDL2-2.0.so.0.2.1
lrwxrwxrwx 1 scf scfstaff 20 Apr 11 13:53 R2018a/bin/glnxa64/libSDL2-2.0.so.1 -> libSDL2-2.0.so.0.2.1
lrwxrwxrwx 1 scf scfstaff 14 Apr 11 13:53 R2018a/bin/glnxa64/libSDL2.so -> libSDL2-2.0.so
This is under Linux Ubuntu 16.04, with Matlab installed using the standard install script, but I also noticed this going back to previous versions when I looked back at them.
