Unable to locate required installation files
Show older comments
Hello, I have a problem to install Matlab without internet connection. The license is enabled for the computer. I downloaded the install, license.lic and get the File Installation Key. But when I put the File Installation Key, he told me "Unable to locate required installation files". The install folder is accessible and I install as an administrator. I do not understand, thanks.

The first download of Matlab does not contain all toolboxes. To reduce the download size, the toolboxes are downloaded after you have provided the license number, when it is known, which toolboxes you have a license for. So you need to start (but not finish!) the installation on a computer with internet connection, provide the license data, let the download proceed. Afterwards you can stop the installation and copy the now completed installation folder to your offline computer.

can the with-internet computer be Windows and the offline computer be Linux? Our linux machines don't have access to outside the firewall. Is there and installation on windows before moving (which?) files to linux?
