MATLAB coder does not run
Show older comments
I am using MATLAB R2018a and just re-install my matlab. Every time I try to run coder it gives me following error: Can't reload 'C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2018a\bin\win64\coder_types.dll' I deleted preference file and folder, but the problem still exists. Any suggestion?

Seems like the FAQ covers your question too: https://matlab.wikia.com/wiki/FAQ#After_installation.2C_MATLAB_crashes_or_gives_an_error_message_when_I_try_to_run_MATLAB.

That IS the real answer, and the best one.
If you had done it, you'd be up and running by now instead of waiting fruitlessly here, forever, for an answer that may never come. Why do you not believe that is not the best answer? It's true. But you're welcome to wait here for as long as it takes. Good luck.
But you may want call them tomorrow (Friday), otherwise you'll have to wait another few days until Monday for a solution.

If you have a Dell, see https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/262098-why-do-i-receive-a-dll-error-when-opening-the-support-package-installer#answer_204548
If not, then you will need to contact Mathwork for free installation support.
