Hello i am tryinfg to plot the abs of Y:
x=-400:400;
Y=1./(j*x+3);
(abs(Y))
title('Fourier's transform of h(t)=e^(-3t)*u(t)');
xlabel('-400 < x < 400 (rad/sec)')
ylabel('Fouriers Transform of h(t)')
plot(Y)
but i am taking all the time the following error message:
Invalid expression. Check for missing
multiplication operator, missing or unbalanced
delimiters, or other syntax error. To construct
matrices, use brackets instead of parentheses.
Please help!

EDITED
clear all
x=-400:400;
Y=1./(j.*x+3);
y=(abs(Y));
plot(x,y)
xlabel('-400 < x < 400 (rad/sec)')
ylabel('Fouriers Transform of h(t)')
title('Fouriers transform of h(t)=e^{-3t}*u(t)')

Yeah that fix the problem but it still does not plot the whole thing. It just opens empty x and y labels
