Show older comments
S3(x)=-0.0196x^2+0.2974x+9.1157
S3(x)=-0.9288(x-1)^3+0.619(x-1)^2+0.548(x-1)+9.39
I am trying to plot both these unctions on the same graph but i always end up with only 1 of them or the wrong figure!! over interval 0.1<x<2
I tried using ezplot but it wouldnt work for me neither would plot

syms x
S3(x)=-0.0196*x^2+0.2974*x+9.1157 ;
fplot(S3,[.1,2])
hold on
S3(x)=-0.9288*(x-1)^3+0.619*(x-1)^2+0.548*(x-1)+9.39 ;
fplot(S3,[.1,2])
Note: Name the second variable other than S3.
