3d surface help

For surface plot, z must be matrix Read here (Highly Recomended)

If X and Y are vectors, length(X)=n and length(Y)=m, where [m,n]=size(Z), must be satisfied.

Or

surf plot- Z must be a matrix, not a scalar or vector, please see here

tri = delaunay(x,y);
trisurf(tri,x,y,z);
