Why do I see the error "error while loading shared libraries: libcrypt.so.1" when starting MATLAB on a Linux machine?

This issue will occur if you are missing the libcrypt.so.1 library, which is part of the libxcrypt package. To resolve this issue, run the command:
sudo yum install libxcrypt-compat
