Convert Z dimension to X dimension

I have an array of size (1000,1,5) elements. I want to append all the Z dimension elements to the X dimension. As in, I want to convert the array to (5000,1) elements. How should I do it?

myArray(:)
will do for that kind of reshape, where myArray is obviously the array you start with.
