BeagleBone Support Package Linux Costumization

When I try to connect my BeagleBone to Matlab/Simulink using Matlab's instructions (https://de.mathworks.com/help/supportpkg/beaglebone/ug/install-target-for-beaglebone-black-hardware.html) I manage to get until step 6 (under "Complete Setup Tasks"). As soon as I hit start to update the firmware, the wait bar reacts for a second before stopping and showing "Retry" on the button.

Has anyone come across the same problem and was able to solve it?

hola, buenas, yo tengo el mismo inconveniente, he usado diferentes versiones de debian y la unica que medio funcionó fue la 7 sin embargo no puede completar la instalación por falta de paquetes, alguien tiene depronto alguna idea sobre que puede estar generando esto? o que version de debian usar que funcione con simulink?

Hi,
I encountered a similar issue before, and disabling the driver signature check during windows startup solved it for me. The problem might be due to an unsigned driver that needs to be installed but is being blocked.
