That particular error message can either mean the file is corrupted, or it can mean that the system failed to allocate memory while loading the data.
The first case is highly unlikely as the MAT file that is trying to load is inbuilt and is working fine when executed on my system.
Memory allocation errors are due to your Operating System not having the resources to allocate any more memory. Or, you might consider increasing your physical RAM memory.
Also, have you installed the support package.If you have already installed support package try reinstalling.
