how can I write the sourcecode for fingerprint identification?

I want to write a program for fingerprint identification. Can anybody help me in writing its source code? , I require a simple algorithm and the steps to create its database.

Your best bet is to use your search engine. Try searching Google Groups (esp. MALAB )before Google Web.
