Help with matlab deployment

Hi, I am trying to create a standalone window application using matlab. I got it compiled and running properly until I used one of the functions. I can hear a warning sound which I think should be an error. Upon looking at the corresponding function, I found it was the first time I was trying to call a function from the optimization toolbox. So here are my questions: 1. Is there a way to view the error message in this case? 2. Are the toolboxes included in the deployment process? 3. If not, is there a way to include them in the exe file?
Thank you.

Run the app from a console window. In Windows 7, do Start, then type cmd into the "Search programs and files" edit field. cd to the folder and run your app. Any error messages will remain in the console window after your app crashes.
Most toolbox functions are included in the compiled app. The exception are those functions that have substantial user interfaces with them, like imtool. Perhaps you are trying to call something that has a major GUI that you didn't build yourself. Look at the excluded files log to see what they didn't include in your compiled app. If it's not included then it will throw an error when your code tries to run that function.

Thanks! Now the error code is: Error while evaluating uicontrol Callback. It runs perfectly in matlab without compiling. What could be the problems here?
