what is 'imtile' function?

I have matlab dfunction as "function [IL x y] = imtile(I, h, k, overlap, graphic)".When run this code error message is displaying as "Undefined function or method 'imtile' for input arguments of type 'uint8'."What is imtile?it is available in new matlab versions?

Doesn't show up in the 2013 doc search -- try the File Exchange or ask whomever from which you received the code for the helper functions...

I've never heard of it. Why have you heard of it? If you got it from someone, ask them. Chances are, you're not calling it with the number of arguments or the classes (i.e., uint8, double, etc.) that the function wants.

If you have a need for some kind of tiling operation, then perhaps blockproc might help, as the two files I've attached below demonstrate.
