Binary Deep Neural Networks?

Does current matlab 2021a deeplearning toolbox support Binary Deep Neural Networks (BNN)? How is it trained and compressed? If not, will future versions integrate this feature? thanks

As of R2023b, MATLAB does not support Binary Deep Neural Networks (BNN). However, it does supports quantized deep neural networks. You can use the Deep Learning Toolbox Model Quantization Library support package to quantize a network to use 8-bit scaled integer data types.
