If you are an Administrator, you can change the User associated to a license in the License Center of your MathWorks Account.

  • Log in to your MathWorks Account
  • Navigate to the License Center
  • Click on the License Number
  • Switch to the 'Manage Users' tab
  • To add a User, click on the button that reads 'Add User'
  • To remove a User, click on the 'X' icon under Remove User

If you're unable to remove a License End User please refer to the following solution:

Why am I unable to modify the end user on my license?

I wonder what would happen if the user has not gotten the email from Mathworks? How the system can send a new email with the password?

Thank you,

Sergio Beltran

Hi Jen,

If you are running into any issues with this, you can contact MathWorks Technical Support and raise a help ticket saying that you did not get an email from MathWorks. I am sure our team will be very happy to help you.

Hi there,

I am currently using the trial Matlab and I would like to remove the "Trial" from the commands window as you can see in the photo. Does anyone know how to do this? I need to take screenshots for my course work.

Many thanks in advance

Ideally, please ask new questions as a new thread.

Beside purchasing, there is no way to remove the Trial prompt. But why is it important to show a screenshot to your professor without "Trial"? Why don't you have the university's version or a personal license for your coursework?
