I have a Visual Basic application that I want to have use some MATLAB functionality. Can I use a MATLAB Compiler generated shared library to do this?

To call a MATLAB Compiler generated shared library from Visual Basic you need to take care of the data type conversions. The easiest way to do this is to use the MATLAB Builder NE, a product which handles this for you.
