The MathWorks team, in collaboration with the most imaginative minds from the realms of science fiction, is thrilled to announce the launch of PreAnswer AI, an unprecedented feature set to revolutionize the way we interact within our MATLAB and Simulink community.

Jokes aside, I'm inclined to think that a segregated, automatically generated default AI answer would go a long way toward disincentivizing low-effort pasting of vague unverified AI trash. It wouldn't be any worse, and nobody would have to question exactly how much insincerity justifies removal. It's just a default "answer". Nobody is fooled into thinking that a human is helping them. Put it in a highlighted block by itself and make it dismissibile, and frequent users who want informed human responses will never see it.
Maybe that ship has already sailed.

This is an interesting idea. We've been iterating on similar ideas and have seen some question & answer sites doing what you describe. An AI generated answer could be helpful for questions that go unanswered by the community. While the quality of the AI answers will vary, there's usually some helpful elements in my experience.
