The Artificial Protozoa Optimizer (APO) is a nature-inspired optimization algorithm proposed by Ahmed K. El-Mesiry et al. in 2019. It is based on the behavior of protozoa, single-celled organisms, which exhibit swarming behavior and can adapt to changing environments.
