Andreas Almqvist
Lulea University of Technology
Andreas Almqvist is a researcher in Tribology, the science and technology of surfaces in relative motion. He is mainly contributing in modelling the effect of micro-scale surface features, i.e., surface roughness on the lubrication of tribological interface. Examples are; all sorts of bearings, cam-mechanisms, contact between gear teeth, hip-joints, tyre on (wet) road, etc.
