I am interested in sediment and salt transport processes in large river, deltaic, and estuarine systems. More specifically, I investigate hydrologic impacts of Mississippi River diversions and linkages between wetland hydrology and vegetation community structure. I am currently using artificial neural networks for ecological community classification.
