Description
Ripple specializes in high-channel count recording and stimulation systems for electrophysiology. The Grapevine Neural Interface System is a complete system with neural interface processor, trellis software, and digital front ends for stimulation control, single multi-unit activity, LFP, ECoG, EMG, EEG, analog, and digital signals.
Ripple’s Trellis Software Suite provides online and offline software applications for all aspects of neurophysiology research. The Trellis software includes a MATLAB® interface to the Grapevine System called Xippmex. TheXippmex MATLAB API, allows MATLAB users to quickly design custom online analyses and visualization that make use of any of the traditional computational tools provided by MATLAB. The software allows the programmatic configuration of a Grapevine Neural Interface processor, near real-time access to data streams, programmatic stimulation outputs, as well as control of file recording.
When paired with the Ripple stimulation front ends, closed-loop experiments can be designed and implemented easily. Additionally, the identical software used for offline analysis can be co-opted for a closed-loop experiment or other online tool. Typical use cases include closed-loop stimulation, brain machine interfaces, and the design of controllable prosthetics.
