Modelithics offers collections of simulation models for passive RF and microwave devices as add-ons for users of MATLAB® and Simulink®:

Modelithics SELECT+ Library is a sampling of Modelithics Microwave Global Models™ for passive devices (capacitors, inductors, and resistors). SELECT+ Library is a representative subset of all models available in the Modelithics EXMPLAR Library™. All models in the Modelithics SELECT+ Library are fully functional versions of their Modelithics EXEMPLAR Library counterparts.

The Modelithics EXEMPLAR Library is an expanded library that includes models for several of today’s leading component suppliers, including Amotech, Kyocera-AVX, Vishay-Barry, Johanson Technology, Kemet, KOA, Murata, Passive Plus, Presidio, TDK, Vishay and Würth Elektronik and more. The EXEMPLAR Library is designed to include all models needed to run the many example tutorial projects available on the Modelithics website.

Each model is developed using specialized measurements under device-specific test conditions. All Modelithics models contain a detailed model datasheet that lists recommended model validity parameters, measurement and test fixture details, and model-to-measurement data comparisons. A single Modelithics Microwave Global Model covers the full range of part values for a vendor component series. The part-value scalability of Microwave Global Models makes them ideal for tuning and optimization.

The end users for Modelithics products are design engineers in the RF and Microwave industry. These models for discrete die, surface mount, and packaged devices are a must-have for anyone involved in PCB-based RF and Microwave circuit or module design.

The Modelithics SELECT+ Library and Modelithics EXEMPLAR Library for MATLAB provide MATLAB and Simulink users with highly accurate, measurement-derived simulation models to assist in achieving first-pass design success. The models are Part Value, Pad, and Substrate Scalable, giving designers extremely flexible design tools while using MATLAB and Simulink.
