Modelithics SELECT+ Library is a collection of Modelithics Microwave Global Models™ for passive devices (capacitors, inductors, and resistors). SELECT+ Library is a representative subset of all models available in the Modelithics COMPLETE Library™. All models in the Modelithics SELECT+ Library are fully functional versions of their Modelithics COMPLETE Library counterparts.
Each model is developed using specialized measurements under device-specific test conditions. All Modelithics models contain a detailed model datasheet that lists recommended model validity parameters, measurement and test fixture details, and model-to-measurement data comparisons. A single Modelithics Microwave Global Model covers the full range of part values for a vendor component series. The part-value scalability of Microwave Global Models makes them ideal for tuning and optimization.
The end users for Modelithics products are design engineers in the RF & Microwave industry. These models for discrete die, surface mount, and packaged devices are a must-have for anyone involved in PCB-based RF & Microwave circuit or module design.
The Modelithics COMPLETE Library contains more than 900 models representative of more than 26,000 passive and active components, for more than 70 component vendors. The Modelithics Libraries are currently compatible with many EDA software tools. Modelithics has additional library offerings for all types of passive and active RF & Microwave devices, including the Modelithics CLR Library, mmWave & 5G Library, and more. The Modelithics CLR Library contains simulation models for passive components, including various component body sizes and part values for capacitors, inductors, and resistors from many popular vendors. The mmWave & 5G Library is a collection of advanced simulation models for high-frequency electronic design, developed to support the needs of the next generation of cellular and wireless communications. All models in this new library can be used in one or more of the latest 5G millimeter wave frequency bands. Every model in the mmWave & 5G Library is validated with measurements to a minimum of 30 GHz, and some as high as 125 GHz.
The Modelithics SELECT+ Library for MATLAB provides MATLAB® and Simulink® users with highly accurate, measurement-derived simulation models to assist in achieving first-pass design success. The models are Part Value, Pad, and Substrate Scalable, giving designers extremely flexible design tools while using MATLAB and Simulink. Users of MATLAB can easily choose components and filter by type, value, vendor, and other properties. You can build circuits, perform what-if analysis, and optimize the overall performance. Users can use the Modelithics SELECT+ Library along with RF Toolbox to calculate S-parameters which can be used in RF Blockset in Simulink.
