Do I have to pay any royalties to MathWorks when I distribute my MATLAB Compiler-generated application?

I am planning to provide my compiled application to other users. I would like the legal requirements about this process.

The full terms and conditions are provided in the MathWorks Software License Agreement, which you can find inside the root installation directory of MATLAB as "license_agreement.txt".
For full details, please refer to Part Two: Deployment Rights, Section 3.1 – Compiler Programs. This section explains the permitted usage and deployment of generated applications, including limitations on modifying and redistributing proprietary components.
If you have questions after reviewing the agreement, please consult your organization’s legal counsel.

I continue to think that Mathworks approach of requiring people to consult their own legal counsel, is a complete cop-out. The major question is not how our counsel interprets the legal terms, but rather how Mathworks interprets the legal terms. Sure, there is potentially room for arguement about what the terms truly mean, but it would help a lot to know the base from which Mathworks is starting.
