Flux Marine Redefines Marine Propulsion Through Electrification

Flux Marine is a startup company designing electric outboards for marine propulsion in an effort to make the marine industry more sustainable. The Flux Marine team uses MATLAB^® and Simulink^® to design its control systems. Using Simscape™, they generate a digital twin model to inform software and hardware decisions when designing their propulsion system. They also use MATLAB for data analysis, curve fitting, and key statistics to ensure all tests are run accurately and safely.

As part of the MathWorks Startup Program, Flux Marine has access to MATLAB at a startup-friendly price and engineering support from MathWorks experts. The partnership and MATLAB tools enable them to save resources, working efficiently to build out and validate their technology to go to market quickly.
