This section helps you complete the Select an ArduPilot Vehicle Type step of the Hardware Setup process (using the Hardware Setup screens).

ArduPilot is a open-source autopilot system capable of controlling a wide variety of vehicles, including drones, planes, and other types of unmanned vehicles. However, this support package currently supports ArduCopter and ArduPlane, which are the most widely used airframes in the ArduPilot ecosystem.

Select your vehicle type and then click Next.

Based on your current selection, you will need to clone the appropriate firmware and complete the toolchain setup for the corresponding airframe.
