Hello everyone,
I am Zi-Xiang, I live in France and have been using MATLAB for about 15 years.
This contest has proved so much more fun than I initially expected!
Many Cody problems seemed daunting to me and it used not to be possible to examine other people's solutions if yours were not as "optimal" as theirs, if I remember correctly. This has apparently changed and makes it much more interesting as it provides the opportunity to exchange ideas and get inspiration from other solutions.
Ironically, trying to solve the contest problems as quickly as possible and then attempting to reduce their "Cody size" leads one to let go of what I would consider good software programming practices... But hey, it's just a game after all!
Meanwhile, it's a great and fun opportunity to explore less commonly encountered functions or algorithmic devices. I have been learning a lot and greatly enjoying rewriting codes and discovering other peoples approaches and thought processes.
I encourage everybody to keep sharing and not hesitate in case of any questions, I would be glad to contribute and be of any help as well!
Happy solving!

Hi everyone,
I'm Vasilis and I'm an engineer and final year PhD candidate in fluid mechanics. I've used MATLAB extensively for sensor data acquisition, signal processing, data analysis and data visualization. I'm really enjoying the contest so far and I have been learning a lot by so many of the other participants. Happy to be part of team Creative Coders!

Good afternoon to all,
I work as a performance analysis engineer for a company that designs valves meant to be mounted on airplanes engines (anti-ice valve, medium used is compressed air). I use Simulink/ Simscape Fluid to create models that would reflect the valve dynamics. I am eager to put some effort in solving programming challenges. I look forward to learn, and develop MATLAB coding skills.

Hi Team,
I'm Stefan and started working with MATLAB more than 25 years ago, while I was still studying electrical engineering. Looking forward to coding with you!
