Time Descending
Thanks for the shoutout @Chen Lin. And you are definitely right about the bar being raised. This week contained some of my favourite animations so far! I can't wait to see all the creative entries during the final week!

btw: What are your favoriate entries so far?
I would definitely like to, but as I'm nearing the writeup stage of my PhD I'm going to have to disappear for a while. But I will definitely aim to make a comeback after that!
As for my favourites, this is a loaded question. There are too many to list individually, but here's a quick overview off the top of my head (in no particular order, but one per account for diversity):
- @Tim's Manta Ray - Tim's entries are consistently spectacular. On top of that, his code is always well-structured and commented as he makes an effort to educate us
- @Jenny Bosten's Forge Ahead - Jenny's entries are always stunning, with beautiful color palettes. This one hits particularly close to home as it's in the context of my area of research
- @Zhaoxu Liu / slandarer's Dragon in the Deep Sea - An adaptation of his amazing post from earlier this year, Zhaoxu Liu has a unique artistic style and never fails to deliver
- @Timothy's Refraction - Not much to repeat but this might just be my favourite one so far
- @Kaustubh's Can it Run Doom? - Great concept and perfectly executed
- @Sonesson's Mathworks Cube! - I was blown away by this amazing work, and I'm looking forward to their followup post
- @Malik's Kaonashi - Nicely-executed Miyazaki-inspired entry, this gets my vote instantly
- @Eric Ludlam's Hungry Gecko Eats Bugs - Pure perfectionism, with great attention to detail
And many more. I reckon the judge panel is going to have their hands full at the end of the contest, and that's a good thing!
