Mathematica offers some sort of LLM connection at a greater price for home license. Of course you have to deal with the syntax complexity of mathematica which led me to quit using it. It would seem that just asking for more money from home license users to be able to connect to LLMs would be profitable for Mathworks. I might upgrade from 2023a just for that feature.
When will MATLAB Copilot start supporting API calls to third-party large AI models? I'm currently in mainland China and cannot use the built-in MATLAB Copilot feature, and its past performance was quite poor. This forced me to use the MATLAB extension in VS Code, but the extension also has many limitations — for example, App Designer and .mlx files cannot use AI features.
