Problem with MATLAB license update.

Hi.
I have 2 MATLAB versions, R2017a and R2012a, installed on my computer.
In December a warning appears to update the license in both versions.
Since it is a license for a University where i study, i just need to do Help->Licensing->Update Current Licenses...
The problem is that the R2017a version updated the license but the R2012a version is unable to do the same.
Now, I am in a countdown in the R2012a version and I can not figure out how to resolve the problem.
Do you know how to solve this problem?
Thank you.
Best Regards,

What kind of license do you have? Also, questions on this forum are mainly answered non-Mathworks staff. We might be able to give some suggestions, but the only people who can help you for sure are Mathworks employees. You can contact support with the Contact Us button at the top of the page.
The license is not mine, it was purchased by my University, and I do not know details about the contract.
I will use your advise and I will contact MATLAB employees.
Thank you.

Since you said the license for release R2012a was provided by your university, I would check with your university's IT staff (whoever maintains and supplies the software licenses to students) first. If they cannot help you update that license, they likely will need to be part of the conversation you have with MathWorks Technical Support about updating the license.
