When will matlab build a coding agent?
With AI agents dev coding on other languages has become so easy.
Im waiting for matlab to build something like warp but for matlab.
I know they have the current ai but with all respect it's rubbish compared to vibe coding tools in others sectors.
Matlab leads AI so it really should be leading this space.

In vibe tools (i won't give names because i don't want to promote any) i can give it all my requirements documents doc and tech stack i want to use we can discuss exactly how i want things to work, and then i can tell it to break the project down into phases and sprint, this is all befor eany code is written.
Then when i tell it to go code sprint 1, it does it, it finds errors and solves it and builds my app.
I tried that in the matlab AI and it was rubbish, i actually had more luck i using GTP to do matlab code.
Where in matlab can i tell the ai exactly what i wantto build and it goes and builds it and resolves its own bugs etc..
What you did here is great.
You built a tool that uses GPT and Matlab as an AI Agent.
I'm asking for matlab to be able to build this just be us prompting it what we want to build
I want matlab as the AI leader to now lead in the AI Agents building space where we prompt it what we want to build and it builds it for us, just like other vibe coding platforms.

I think you have tried MATLAB Copilot, so you can see the differences in comparison. Although this was introduced in R2025a, I believe it will improve a lot in the future—writing code will become more intelligent and it will better understand your intent.
When will it improve?
I want to just type what I want and it should build it and code it.
