Time Descending
I had the same issue previously. I have been working in the ai services domain for a while, and when registered for the thingspeak I wasn't able to connect to the account.
Could you please recheck the following steps? Just make sure you follow these.
- Sign up for a new User Account – https://thingspeak.com
- Create a new Channel by selecting Channels, My Channels, and then New Channel
- Note the Write API Key and Channel ID
Thank you for your answer. I signed up with thingspeak.com getting started for free and then created a new channel the same way you advise. I only use API Key in micro:bit. But I tried it through KidsIoT (similar service to ThingSpeak) and I got same result. Its not possible to connect this service, although I am connected to wifi or hotspot. I don't know where a I make mistake...:(
If I use this link in my browser https://api.thingspeak.com/update?api_key=WD8BRSYWT2G3I...&field1=1234 it works well
Can you add something in your code to make sure the wifi connection works? Perhaps you could have it flash a light? Or is there a serial debug port for this device?
Thanks, I created new account and channel on ThingSpeak and use different addon in microbit for ThingSpeak, upload new firmware (it was same, but for sure) and it started work - I dont know why, but something help:) Thank you
